Product pages: answer the questions before purchase

The chair looks attractive, but the product page gives no seat height. A customer cannot tell whether it will fit their table. The store offers a buy button while still requiring a phone call for a basic decision.
A useful product page collects and answers those questions. Neither word count nor image count establishes quality. The test is whether someone can understand the item they are about to purchase.
Make the product identifiable
Keep the name, model and relevant item code consistent. Distinguish similar models using the attributes that affect suitability: dimensions, material, capacity, compatibility or included components.
The WooCommerce product documentation separates attributes, variations, inventory and shipping information. Select the public details around customer needs; reproducing administrative fields without interpretation is not enough.

Explain the complete offer
Show which variant a price applies to, what the package includes and whether additional costs apply. If delivery is calculated from the destination, explain that early in the selection process.
Stock labels should reflect the actual situation. Do not turn an unconfirmed estimate into a precise delivery promise. When staff need to confirm conditions, distinguish requesting an offer from making an immediate purchase.
Images should show the relevant item and variant. Include the views needed to understand scale or important details. Explain when a photograph shows a different colour or configuration.

Check the page using customer questions
- Identify the model and selected variant using only the page.
- Find the relevant dimensions and included components.
- Check price, availability and the next delivery step.
- Review the information on a phone without overlapping tables.
- Record repeated questions and add the missing answers.
If information is unknown, assign someone to verify it rather than inventing an answer. Building an online store should include collecting product content and maintaining it after launch.
